Our Story

Stanley “Lee” Tinter started Leebe Fish because he needed a place to sell all the fish he caught as a commercial fisherman!! Lee was selling his fish out of the back of his truck at the Marco bridge. One day the man came and told him he couldn’t sell his fish there any more. So Lee went to the Shoppes at Olde Marco and rented a small little shop and Leebe Fish was established!!

When Lee had fish to sell the market was open and when he was fishing it was closed. Over the years Leebe went from having coolers on the floor to adding fryers and a grill to cook the fish and gradually over time evolving into what it is today - one of the best kept secrets in Marco Island. Leebe Fish continues on today carrying out Lee’s legacy of selling fish so fresh it was swimming yesterday!
